Tracking hours for more than one job
Wagebook 1.1.0
Two part-time jobs usually means two rates, two pay dates, and twice the chance of a missed shift. Wagebook keeps each job separate while showing all of them on one calendar.
One job, one set of rules
Each job has its own rates, pay schedule, and currency. A café paid fortnightly and a weekend job paid monthly each get their own pay periods, so a payment from one never gets compared with the hours from the other.
Jobs have their own colour on the calendar, so a busy week shows at a glance which hours belong where.
Different currencies stay apart
Wagebook supports 12 currencies, including USD, GBP, AUD, CAD, EUR, JPY, HKD, and MYR. If you work in more than one, each job keeps its own currency and Wagebook does not add them together or convert them.
When a job ends
Archive a job you have left. It disappears from daily use, but its shifts, pay periods, payments, and exports stay, which is useful at the end of the year or if a late payment arrives.
Questions
Is there a limit on the number of jobs?
No. Add as many jobs as you work.
Can I see the total across all my jobs?
The calendar shows every job’s shifts together. Pay is estimated per job, and amounts in different currencies are never added together.
What happens to an archived job?
It keeps its shifts, pay periods, and payments, and can still be exported.
