Wagebook Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 7, 2026
Wagebook is an hours and pay tracker from Castor Studio. This policy explains what happens to the information you put into the app.

Your records stay on your device
Jobs, rates, shifts, breaks, notes, pay periods, and payments you record are stored on your iPhone. Wagebook has no account, no sign-in, and no server database for these records, and it does not sync them to iCloud or any other cloud service. Logging, viewing, exporting, and deleting work without a network connection.
Like other app data, your records may be included in your own iPhone backups, depending on your backup settings. Apple manages those backups.
What we collect
When your device is online, Wagebook sends limited information to two services:
- Google Firebase (Analytics and Crashlytics): predefined usage events, such as when the app opens, which screens you visit, and whether a shift was saved, and crash reports so we can fix bugs.
- RevenueCat: the same kind of usage information plus your Wagebook Pro purchase status, so purchases can be restored and we can see how people move from the free app to Pro. RevenueCat uses your IP address to estimate your country; it does not receive your location.
Usage collection is on by default and there is no in-app switch to turn it off. These services use anonymous app identifiers, linked to each other but not to a Wagebook account or to your identity. They never receive your pay amounts, rates, job names, notes, or shift times. Event details are limited to fixed values, such as hourly or per-shift, the currency code of a job, or how many shifts were in a batch.
In App Store terms, Wagebook collects crash data, a device identifier, product interaction, and purchase history. None of it is linked to your identity, and none of it is used for tracking.
What we do not do
- We do not show ads or include advertising SDKs.
- We do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites, and Wagebook does not ask for tracking permission.
- We do not sell your information.
- We do not request access to your location, contacts, photos, camera, or microphone.
Exports
A CSV export leaves the app only when you create and share it. Before you export, Wagebook explains what the file contains. By default the CSV hides job names and notes; you choose whether to include them. Where the file goes is up to you and the app you share it with.
Privacy in the app switcher
You can turn on an option in Settings that covers pay and job details whenever Wagebook is in the background, so they do not appear in the app switcher.
Deleting your data
You can delete shifts in the app. Deleting Wagebook removes the records stored on your device. Copies in your own backups or exported files are under your control.
Children
Wagebook is not directed to children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the effective date above.
